KTD 2001 electric vaporizers safely and efficiently vaporize LPG for commercial and industrial applications serving up to 50 kg/h. Eight (8) removable resistance heating elements inserted from the top extend through the vaporizer providing thermal energy to the aluminum heat exchanger placed inside an iron pressure vessel. The control housing containing electric components and mechanical thermostats is placed on the side allowing easy accessible maintenance. The control housing is equipped with a green on/off indicator light. The standard Remote Control Panel can be placed next to the vaporizer or in a designated control room depending on the classification of the room.

When the vaporizer reaches operating temperature, the inlet solenoid valve will open to allow gas flow. The inlet solenoid valve is controlled by a mechanical thermostat located in the vapor outlet. The vaporizer is equipped with a mechanical excess temperature protection thermostat to ensure that the vaporizer is not overloaded. Other mechanical thermostats monitor the temperature of the LPG and the aluminum heat exchanger, and regulate the on/off cycle of the heating elements at predetermined set points.
